Testgrid launches hiring intelligence platform to help employers hire faster and more consistently

The new Australian-built platform connects assessment, workflow and reporting in one place, removing the manual admin that slows hiring down, with people kept in charge of every decision.

Melbourne, Australia, 7th October, 2027: Testgrid, the Australian hiring technology company, has launched a new hiring intelligence platform that connects the hiring process from application to decision in a single system. The launch marks Testgrid’s shift from an assessment provider to a hiring intelligence platform, giving recruitment teams one place to assess candidates, run their process and make confident, evidence-based decisions, with far less manual work.

Hiring in Australia has grown slower and more fragmented. The median time to fill a role is around 32 days, according to the SmartRecruiters benchmark, and a Robert Half survey found that more than half of employers take five weeks or more. Much of that delay comes not from the hiring decision itself, but from the admin around it, including moving data between disconnected tools, chasing updates and assembling a view of each candidate by hand. At the same time, 42 per cent of candidates say they have left a recruitment process because scheduling took too long.

Testgrid’s platform is built to close those gaps. It brings application forms, candidate communications, assessments, structured interviews, automation and reporting into one connected environment. Teams begin by defining what a role requires. The platform then recommends how to assess for it, gathers job-relevant evidence, and presents a clear, ranked view of candidates. Automation handles the repetitive steps between stages, and every action stays visible to the team.

The approach reflects a shift the company calls hiring intelligence: connecting hiring data so teams decide from a complete picture rather than from fragments. Where many tools either track candidates or test them, Testgrid connects both to the decision. Artificial intelligence is used to assist the process and reduce manual work, not to make hiring decisions, which remain with people.

“For years, the industry has told hiring teams that the answer to better hiring is a better test,” said Will Ainsley, Chief Operating Officer at Testgrid. “That was only ever part of the story. The real problem most teams face is that their hiring is spread across disconnected tools, and the people making decisions are left to piece it together themselves. We built this platform to bring all of that into one place, so teams can hire faster and with more confidence, while people stay firmly in charge of the decisions.”

Testgrid is Australian-owned, with data hosted onshore, and the platform is built on established assessment science. It is designed for organisations hiring at volume or for high-stakes roles, including operational and safety-critical employers, recruitment providers and public sector teams.

The platform is available now. Organisations can find out more or book a walkthrough at www.testgrid.com
